Scott Central Attendance Center had students from Rev. Cook's 6th Grade Art Class and Gifted students from 5th and 6th grade classes attend the Lauren Rogers museum of Art in Laurel, Mississippi. It was an inspirational trip seeing works from famous artists, plus an exhibit about Mississippi's own, Leontyne Price. The students also were able to create oil pastel and watercolor mixed media art themselves. This was an awesome experience and enjoyed by all that attended!
