Please help us in welcoming Mr. Clay Fuller to the SC Family!
Mr. Fuller is a 22 year veteran band director and is a product of the Louisville Public Schools, East Central Community College, and Delta State University. He began playing trumpet in 1986 and has remained active performing weddings and military services, including a performance with the Tupelo Symphony. He is also an Eagle Scout, and served as bugler for Troop 5 in Louisville, and more recently has played live TAPS for Bugles Across America, a consortium of brass players who volunteer to play TAPS for military funerals in lieu of a recorded version played digitally.
Mr Fuller has produced many superior rated bands in marching, concert and sight reading, and has had several students selected to the Mississippi All-State Concert Band as well as the Mississippi Lions All-State band, of which he was a member in 1992 when the band toured Honolulu Hawaii.
His bands at Cleveland High School and Brookhaven High School earned MHSAA Sweepstakes Awards as well as placement in the Mississippi Marching Band Championships.
He is a Past President of the Mississippi Bandmasters Association, and lives in Ackerman with his wife Monica, daughter Nora and dogs Izzy and Oliver, and cat Karl.
