Welcome to Mrs. Brown's 8th Grade Math Class

The 8th grade year is all about preparing your students to succeed in high school and beyond. Now is the time to develop a strong work ethic and solid study habits. This will be a year of growth and change and should be an exciting time for your student(s).

Before anything else, I want you as parents to know that I care about the learning and well-being of your student(s). I will always give 100% of what is have. This includes being as honest and as fair as I can possibly be with the student(s) and with you. I am thrilled to work with your student(s) for the next 180 days to help them grow into responsible, kind, and hardworking young adults.

With that being said, I have high expectations for the learning and behavior of the students. I hope you will trust that I will always have your students’ best interests in mind. My goal is to make learning and understanding math easy and fun for all students. It is through the study of mathematics that your student(s) will develop critical thinking and reasoning abilities, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
